The Capitol Steps, the nationally reknown group of political satirists, comes to Fountain Street Church on October 13, 2008, For everyone who has been worn down by politics as usual, this evening will poke fun in a non-partisan way- everyone in this crazy, mixed-up democracy of ours is a target. In addition to The Capitol Steps, our opening act will be Peter Madcat Ruth, a Grammy Award-winning virtuoso harmonica player based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Prior to the show at 6:00PM, a "Yesterdog" all-American hot dog supper will be served on site. Also from 6:00 to 7:00 and from 9:00 to 10:00, a "Democracy Expo", will be held where political action groups may promote their causes. This will truly be a fun-filled, thought-provoking evening for all.
