Description
Get your workboots on for the first Adopt-A-Highway Clean-up in Flint. The skeptic/atheist/free-thinker community is often criticized for ignoring charity efforts and this is a chance to prove the naysayers wrong!
We will cleaning on I-475, between Broadway and Pierson. Our area is particularly dirty, which is great because it means we can do the most good!
Volunteers will meet for breakfast at 9:00am at Starlite Coney Island. After breakfast we will carpool to the highway for the clean-up around 10:00am or 11:00am.
The clean up is open to anyone over 12 years old. If you wish to participate, you must first watch this safety video.
Please don't forget to bring:
- Gloves
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray
- Bottled water
- Sunglasses/hat
Cost: A donation of your time. Individuals are responsible for purchasing food/beverages.
