Description

CFI Volunteers will lend a hand to the Blandford Nature Center on March 22, 2014. BNC holds a day long event from 9am to 4pm, which includes a pancake breakfast, guided trail tours, and operation of their Sugar Shack. There are many opportunities to assist with activities throughout the day, even for just a couple hours!

Volunteer Parking will be at the CA Frost Environmental School (off trail and Laughlin NW). Parking address: 1460 Laughlin Dr NW Grand Rapids, MI 49504. This is just left of the center. Instead of driving into the the center's entrance, volunteers are being asked to turn left at the entrance gate and drive a block and you will see the Frost School parking lot. From there you can walk or take the free mini shuttle to the new Blandford Environmental School off Milo. Breakfast will be in the new Blandford School just north of the red farm barns. This is different from previous years.

To sign up as a volunteer, contact Jessie at Blandford Nature Center: 616-735-6240 ext 22 or 248-245-3977. Be sure to say you are a CFI Volunteer. There is a yummy reward, all festival volunteers will receive a free pancake meal during their shift. Hope to see you there!
