Café Inquiry - What do you Fear the Most? (Grand Rapids)

Sunday, August 27, 2017, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Schuler Books - Studio, 2660 28th St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI, View Map

Café Inquiry is a casual event starting with a short 10-15 minute introduction of the day's topic followed by open discussion. At 12:00pm we will break for coffee/brunch and a chance to socialize.

What do you fear? Nuclear war? Global warming? The threat of antibiotic resistant microbes? Find out what Americans fear most as we discuss the "Survey Shows Americans Fear Ghosts, the Government, and Each Other" article from the Jan/Feb 2017 Issue of Skeptical Inquirer Magazine. FDR may have right when he said, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself”.

Members are welcome to propose and schedule a topic which would be of interest toward establishing a secular society based on science, reason, freedom of inquiry, and humanist values. Please contact us if you have a topic that you would like to discuss at an upcoming Café Inquiry.

Café Inquiry (Grand Rapids) meets on the second and fourth Sundays of each month.
