About the Speaker
Dr. Sherwin Nuland is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at Yale and is recognized as one of the world's foremost authorities on the history and ethics of medicine. He is author of a dozen books, including the best seller How We Die, which won the National Book Award and made Nuland a Pulitzer Prize finalist. Some of his other books include The Wisdom of the Body, The Art of Aging, The Soul of Medicine, and others.
