Women’s Group - White Pine Trail Bike Ride

Description
We will be taking a scenic bike ride to Rockford on the White Pine trail. In Rockford we will take a break and do a little window-shopping and then we will bike back to Grand Rapids. If you have a daughter who is interested in riding along, they are more than are welcome! Please keep in mind that we will be riding about 17 miles round trip, and that might be a bit too much for younger children. We will be meeting at the Fifth Third ballpark at 9 AM – parking is available in the Fifth Third lot across the street from AJ’s.
Additional Details
What to Bring:
A bike, of course, and a helmet if you wish.
A backpack - for purchases, etc.
Water bottle(s)
Money for a snack & shopping (if you wish).
Remember to dress appropriately for the weather.
Schedule (approximate)
9:00 am: Meet at 5/3 Ball Park and unload bikes
9:15 am: Depart on White Pine Trail to Rockford
10:00 am: Arrive Rockford: snack and shopping if desired
11:15 pm: Depart Rockford and bike to GR
12:00 pm: Arrive at GR
If it is raining we will still meet for Women’s Group at Amanda’s house (734 Lockwood St. NE in Grand Rapids) and a rain-date for the bike ride will be setup at a future date.
