Meeting Minutes for October 15, 1997; #8.

Eighth Meeting 10-15-97 Howard Foster, Don Hansen, Charles LaRue, Charley Moore, Jeff Seaver.

The main function at this meeting was to watch the Monte Python movie, “The Meaning of Life”, a satire and comedy on various issues of life.

In view of the huge Promise Keepers meeting in Washington, D.C. some thoughts were expressed regarding that event.

Some of the thoughts stated in Tom Paine’s book, Age of Reason, were discussed by Jeff.

Halloween practices and their acceptance in the West Michigan climate were reviewed.

The idea of meeting with Charles Honey, religious writer for the Grand Rapids Press, to discuss the possibility of including a skeptics column on a regular basis in the paper was presented.

Since Duncan Littlefair would be available on Thursday, 10-30-97, it was decided to hold the next meeting on that date.
